Summer 2010 Our Summer edition of Focus on Pennsylvania shines
the spotlight on the growing trend of Community Supported Agriculture or
CSA farms. We’ll also show you how the Capitol Hunger Garden is growing food
and awareness as well as a report on how young people are learning valuable
recreation skills.

May 2010
This month's program shines the spotlight on our state veterans. We visit two
VA Medical Centers, including a new Women's Health Clinic, and hear from the
Adjutant General of the Pennsylvania National Guard, Major General Jessica
Wright. We also honor some extraordinary World War II veterans for their
service.

April 2010
This month we travel to the northern tier for a behind-the-scenes tour of a
growing industry in the state, maple syrup production. We also showcase
"Pennsylvania Hands," an exhibit of narrative portraits of modern-day artisans
who are keeping traditional functional skills alive in the state.

March 2010
This month we highlight the important reasons you should participate in the 2010
U.S. Census and also have an update on state government reforms.

February 2010
This month's program features Senate Republican reaction to the Governor's
2010-11 state budget proposal. We also have a report on a beer battle brewing at
the state capitol.

January 2010
This month we tour one of PennDOT's traffic control centers and see how
officials handle a winter storm. We also feature an interview with Senator John
Rafferty, the new Chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee.
